The Kidney Research Institute of Texas Pushes Forward to Advance Improvements in Kidney Patient Care

Bill and Danielle Gottfried, the founders of The Kidney Research Institute of Texas, continue to push forward in 2021 to help advance investment in kidney disease prevention, including the development of nutrition, dietary management, and life style management programs; kidney disease research, including identifying the leading kidney research institutions worldwide that warrant additional funding to advance kidney disease research; and advanced technology innovation, including the identification of leading technology innovators, worldwide, developing new dialysis technology platforms and renal replacement therapies, including technology innovation leading to the development of an artificial kidney. We remain committed to improving the lives of kidney patients and those at risk for kidney disease by supporting prevention, research, and technology innovation investment to improve the lives of the kidney patient community. One-third of the world’s population is at risk for kidney disease. Our goal is to help end the global pandemic of kidney disease.
