The Kidney Research Institute of Texas supports kidney health investment in Houston.

The Kidney Research Institute of Texas continues to press forward to develop programs designed to accelerate investment in kidney disease prevention, including nutritional and dietary management programs for elementary grade school students as well as for adults, kidney disease research, and technology innovation to improve the lives of kidney patients. We are committed to ending the worldwide kidney disease pandemic. According to the National Kidney Foundation, one-third of the world’s adult population is at risk for kidney disease.

Our goal is to help make the Houston medical and health care community the world leader in kidney health investment and take the leadership role, worldwide, in investments for kidney disease prevention, kidney disease research, and technology innovation to improve the lives of kidney patients.

We continue to meet with the leading Nephrology and Kidney Research Teams in The Texas Medical Center in Houston to advance our goal and vision of accelerating investment in kidney disease prevention, kidney disease research, and technology innovation to improve the lives of kidney patients. These activities are ongoing.

Bill Gottfried is honored to serve as a Ambassador for the American Association of Kidney Patients and Dialysis Patient Citizens where he works to support investment in kidney health to improve the lives of kidney patients. Bill has been a fundraiser for the National Kidney Foundation.
